Horses at Twin Peaks

A lot of area residents left their homes and brought their horses to Twin Peaks Junior High as a precaution. Much of eastern Poway is housing on large plots of land, many many people keep horses. The horses were ultimately evacuated to the Del Mar Race Track, Thoroughbred Club, and Polo Park.
